Lili of the Valley- Heavenly Christmas

Hey everyone!
Here is a Christmas card showing off a stamp from the latest Christmas release from Lili of the Valley called Heavenly Christmas...

I coloured Heavenly Christmas with copics- I used a combination of blues, greys, blue violets and yellow on the white areas to give a bit of depth. Stickles added to the stars. These beautiful papers are
LOTV Woodland Wishes. The gorgeous little Christmas tags are LOTV Christmas Sentiment Tags- so useful- you know you'll find one appropriate for the image you're using!
Apologies for the photo- sunlight has not been good here!

Here's your close up. Just love those puffy clouds!
I tried to get a bit of yellow in there to reflect the glow of the stars.

LOTV Mirror Mirror

Hey everyone!
I'm a little bit behind with my LOTV DT Collective cards this month. My son's been poorly a few times, we've been away and I'm having an op on Monday so I'm feeling quite rushed. I don't know where this month has gone!

Anyway enough rambling, onto today's card- an oldie but a goodie! I'm using Mirror Mirror...

I coloured this sweetie with copics adding white gel pen to her dress and Stickles to her hair bow and the mirror. I used a bit of Frantage and my distressing tool to add a touch of shabby chic-ness. I cut out some vintage style flower buttons and sewed some real buttons on top of them. Also added some antique-looking nailheads.

Your close up! x

Hey everyone!
Have you all gotten over the excitement of the Bella release? What did you order?!
What was your fav image of the release? Mine definitely had to be Tiny Townie Fay Loves Fall.

Anyway, onto today's Bellarific Friday Challenge.

I decided to use Chandler Makes A Choice. Don't you just love her floaty skirt and that bow is to die for?! Also loving an Uptownie with short hair!

Chandler is coloured with copics. I added some Glossy Accents to the bell jars and some Stickles are dotted about. The sentiment is actually from the Uptownie Claudia Has A Candy stamp set. Papers are MME.

Bellarific Friday- Happy Birthday Hoppy Poppy!

Sooooo it's Bellarific Friday time!

This week's challenge was a sketch (see below)...

Just how much of a cutie pie is Hoppy Poppy? This stamp is Happy Birthday Hoppy Poppy coloured with copics. Papers are SU. Love the sentiment and especially the ditzy font! Flower was created using a Magnolia die for the base of the flower with a MFT Rolled Rose on top.

How sweet is Poppy?! I tried to add a little yellow and purple tones for shadows and areas lit up by her candle.

Here was your sketch

Stamping Bella Release Sneaky Peeks Day 7- Tiny Townie Fay Loves Fall

Hello Bella fans!
I'm back with another Tiny Townie from the upcoming Stamping Bella release.
Meet Fay Loves Fall...

I am so excited to show you my card today because Fay is my fav stamp of the release so far. In fact I think she may be my fav Tiny Townie evah! Here in the UK, we don't celebrate autumn/thanksgiving but you know sometimes you come across an image that you don't immediately know when you're going to use it but that you HAVE to have it cos it's such a beautiful image and you know you're going to find a way to keep using it!!! I just love love love her!
Fay is coloured with copics and white gel pen added for contrast on her tights, hat and coat. I had another go (see Willow the Witch post) at a sort of watercoloury background just using copics. I added quite a lot of BVs to the sky as I wanted to make it look autumnal/wintery. Can't you just feel those crunchy leaves and the crisp autumn air?!

Your close up

I'm back on Friday with a final Tiny Townie and of course Bellarific Friday.

New Stamping Bella release- Tiny Townie Willow The Witch

Soooooooo.... today is my first sneaky peek of the new Stamping Bella release featuring Tiny Townie Willow The Witch!

I squealed when I first saw this image. Her adorable outfit, the cute birdies but it was the cute birdies dressed as ghosts that really got me!! Love love love! And I haven't even mentioned the fab sentiment!!

Willow and friends are coloured with copics and placed behind the stitched frame. I have to tell you what a fun image this is to colour- the little birdies had me "aaahing" as I was colouring them!! Papers are by Authentique. Did I tell you how much I love this sentiment?! I thought it needed another mention!

It's the first Friday of the month so that can only mean one thing....it's STAMP OF THE MONTH time over at Stamping Bella!

Your challenge this week was to USE BUTTONS, BOWS OR SEQUINS
The DT had the added challenge of using the stamp of the month, Uptownie Betty Loves Books!

Betty was coloured using copics with a lyra pencil shadow underneath and Glossy Accents added to her glasses. I love her stripy tights sooo much! The sentiment is actually the one that accompanies Uptownie Rebecca Loves To Read. Papers are old Basic Grey ones. The ribbon looked straight when I stuck it down! ha ha.

Here is your sketch for next week's challenge.
Entry deets are here.

Don't forget Betty is 20% off for the whole of August!!
