Bellarific Friday- Tiny Townies Tiny Dancers!

Hellooooooo!

Oooh I'm so excited to show you this Friday's Bella card! The challenge was to use a sketch (see below).
Have you fallen in love with the Tiny Townies as much as me?!

I really wanted to colour Tiny Dancers in sepia tones- I don't know why! That's what they were saying to me! I fussy cut them- was a tricky one with all that delicate ribbon! These gorgeous papers are Teresa Collins. I stamped the accompanying sentiment on a sheet of the TC paper and added a teeny heart using a Mama Elephant die. The "ribbon" across the centre is black card stock cut out using a Simon Says Stamp banner die- just the ends!

Here is your close up! These Tiny Townies have a special place in my heart as I used to do ballet. I just love their outfits and their gorgeous ribbons. They look so carefree!

Here was your sketch.

Next week's challenge is USE BUTTONS, BOWS OR SEQUINS! Entry deets are here.

As it's the first Friday of the month, the DT will be show casing another STAMP OF THE MONTH which will be discounted by 20% ALL month long!

Lili Of The Valley- a Christmas sneaky peek!

Hey LOTV fans!
I'm extremely lucky to have a sneaky peek for you today from the new release of Christmas LOTV stamps!!

This Friday LOTV are launching a new range of fairies and Christmas stamps. Firstly they are launching a beautiful set of "months of the year" fairies- great for calenders as well as cards! And also they are launching their first set of Christmas stamps for this year.
The Design Team Collective have all been sharing their sneaky peeks on LOTV World on Facebook and on their respective blogs so do check them all out- they are ALL gorgeous new stamps, you'll be so excited when you see them!

So without further ado, here is Happy Kissmas...

Isn't this just such a cutie patootie stamp?! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it!! I took inspiration from Laila's Krafty Christmas paper pad to create a non-traditional looking Christmas card. I coloured this gorgeous couple with copics. I fussy cut them and cut the mistletoe off separately so that I could hang it off the top of the frame (MFT die). I used 3 different papers from Laila's pad and contrasted them with dark chocolate brown card. Hope you like it!

Your close up.
Aren't they such an adorable couple?!

Watch this space for another showing of this sweetie couple by Friday's release and don't forget to check out the rest of the DT Collective's samples x

Today's post is for the LOTV Design Team Collective and features stamps and papers by LOTV. I decided to make a male gift card holder featuring James Laptop...

James Laptop is coloured with copics with some gel pen added to accentuate his eyes and nose. These papers are LOTV Country Gent. The actual gift card itself has been cut using Mama Elephant Tags A Lot. The sentiment is LOTV Handwritten Phrases.

How much of a cutie is he?!!! I wonder what he's thinking about!

Bellarific Friday- Opal the Optimist!

Hallo! My second Bella post of the week! This week's Bellarific Friday is on Saturday due to the team participating in the Cardmaker Blog Hop.

This week's Bellarific Challenge was CHRISTMAS IN JULY!...

I think it's fun to sometimes shake it up a bit and use your stamps in a way you wouldn't normally- hence using Opal The Optimist here instead of a "traditional" Christmasy stamp. Opal is coloured with copics and white gel pen used for the polka dots on her dress. These stunning papers are by MME- I LOVE the Christmasy chandeliers!!! To die for!! Holly sprigs are a Memory Box die.

Your close up!

This is your sketch for next week's challenge which will be back to it's usual Friday spot.
Entry deets are here

Samantha and Sierra are coloured with copics. I added some white gel pen to the centres of the flowers on Sierra's cossie, Glossy Accents to her sunglasses and Stickles to their cocktails. I LOVE this sentiment!! (comes with the girls). The papers I've used are from Echo Park Summer Bliss. The sun and waves are created using MFT Dienamics, as are the clouds which are cut from felt. The sand was created using Landscape Trio Dies from Mama Elephant. The teeny heart is from ME Tags A Lot die set and the stitched frame is from the ME Peek A Frame set.

Here is your close up! Love their retro swimmies and the stunning flower in Samantha's (I think she's Samantha!) hair. Bet they take a gorgeous selfie! Eat your heart out, Kim Kardashian!!!

Bellarific Friday- Serena Has A Sign!

Hey there!
It was sketch time at Bellarific Friday this week (see below).

Today I am showcasing Uptownie Serena Has A Sign...

Serena is sooo fab. She has a few different sentiments you can pair her with so you can use her for a variety of occasions. Also her sign is so big, you can use her with a load of sentiments in your collection- the possibilities are endless! I decided to layer up Serena because I thought it would be nice as her dress is so pouffy! These papers are Pink Paislee.

Here is an angle shot so you can get a view of the dress and frame layering.

Here was your sketch for this week.

OK so next week's challenge is CHRISTMAS IN JULY!

Bellarific Friday- Milton!

Halloooooo!

It's Bellarific Friday time!
Today's challenge was to USE A CHRISTINE GROVE STAMP.

I chose Milton from the new release. Isn't he the cutest?

I coloured Milton with copics and then added a couple of nailheads to his dungarees which are paper pieced. Papers are by Carta Bella. The large cover plate is by Lil Inkers. The sentiment comes with Milton. I masked and stamped each individual word so I could make 4 banners. Teeny star is a Mama Elephant die.

Your close up.

Lili of the Valley- Time Flies

Hey LOTV fans!
Today I have a card to share with you for the LOTV DT Collective.
I've used Time Flies...

Our gorgeous fairy is coloured with copics with some black gel pen on her socks. I used Cosmic Shimmer Texture paste for the actual dandelion and Stickles on her wings. I decided to try something different today so I did a partial die cut using a stitched oval plus some fussy cutting. Let me tell you, it was fussy!!!! Think I could've picked an easier stamp to use for this technique. Anyhoo I'm pleased with how it's turned out. The LOTV papers I've used are Shabby Shack. The sentiment is LOTV from their Handwritten Phrases stamp set. I managed to curve it round to fit my wavy banner die.

Here's your close up!

psst.. have you seen the fabbie new LOTV release?!
17 new stamps!! And 6 new colouring books!! My fav is definately a new character Odd Dog- you're going to love him!

Thanks for stopping by today x

Some Odd Girl- Love Me Not Mae

Hey you! How's it going?
I'm a bit short of crafting time of late- mainly my son keeps me so busy but also I've been trying to do some reorganisation of my craft room so at some point I will update my "my craft room" page so you can all have a nosy!

Anyway, today I thought I'd share a SOG card using the gorgeous Love Me Not Mae.
Love love this stamp!

So I coloured Mae with copics and added some lyra pencil shadow beneath her. These papers make me sigh with happiness! They're by Little Red Bicycle. I hadn't seen any of their papers before so I bought this pad, then wanted to see what else they had done because I loved this one so much and what do you know?- the company has closed down!!!! Pants!
Mae was cut out using a Lil Inkers stitched die. "Love" die is by Paper Smooches as is the biggest heart. The teeny hearts and heart border are a Mama Elephant die.

Here's your romantic close up!

Hope you're having a great weekend!
Back in a couple of days with a LOTV card x
