Sketch Saturday- Madeline with retro outfit

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing good. I'm getting a funky vibe at Sketch Saturday this week...

This week we are sponsored by Milk Coffee so I'm using their Madeline With Retro Outfit. I coloured Madeline with copics and put some Glossy Accents on her glasses for extra shine. These papers are MME Cambridge Court. The diecut swirl is the Looped Border Dienamic and finished with a Paper Smooches sentiment.

Right on!

Here's your sketch

My Mum's Craft Shop- Christmas is coming!

As far off as Christmas is, we crafters know we need to get prepared so this week over at My Mum's Craft Shop "Christmas is coming"!

I'm showcasing some Papermania Christmas products today. This gorgeous stamp is called At Christmas- Chair. I absolutely love this stamp, so so perfect for those traditional cards and it is a dream to colour on kraft. The papers I've chosen are Papermania Christmas in the Country which complement kraft really well. The sentiment is one of two that comes with the stamp set die cut using Fishtail Flags Stax. A final bit of embellishment with a diecut Let It Snowflake Dienamic.

Can't believe it's Saturday again already! Today I have a Christmas card to show you for Sketch Saturday. How are your Christmas cards coming along? I'm very pleased to say (believe this or not), I've actually only got 2 more to make!!! I've done alot of Papertrey Ink CAS style ones this year which I'll be blogging later in the year (more on that in a few weeks as I have some news to share).

Anyway onto today's card...

I've used Meljen's Christmas Bunny coloured with copics. These papers are Basic Grey Aspen Frost. I used the fence and snowflakes Dienamics which I embossed with white embossing powder to make them a bit snowy. Sentiment is Craftwork Cards.

Brrrrrr!

Here is Jen's sketch for this week. A really unusual one, don't you think?

My Mum's Craft Shop- Tilly Daydream!

I've a very simple decoupage card to share with you today for My Mum's Craft Shop but first a quick notice...

Kitty is holding a SHOP DISCOUNT DAY on Sat 31st August 10am to 3pm- check out the website for more deets!

This card is using Tilly Daydream Decoupage Pack- Sledge. Whilst it has, like the name suggests, some Christmasy decoupage, it also has an Autumnal image and this cute afternoon tea one- perfect for those quick birthday cards. I framed the decoupage using a nestie and then mounted on these gorgeous MME papers called Up And Away- they literally could've been made for this decoupage! Finished off with some heart pearls. Job done!

Mmmm, love afternoon tea!

Gardening Mae

Happy Sunday! Thought I'd post an extra card this week as I decided to enter the Some Odd Girl Challenge for August...

I have used Gardening Mae coloured with copics. This is the first time I've ever coloured a proper background with copics - normally I cop out and use pencils for the grass as I'm too scared to be so bold- but I used Kristy's fabulous video tutorial to colour this and I'm so glad I did! These papers are Prima Believe.

My Mum's Craft Shop- Use Kraft!

Hey peeps! How is your week going? This week over at My Mum's Craft Shop blog we are showcasing our creations featuring Kraft.

I decided to go full-on kraft by stamping and colouring directly onto kraft cardstock. This is a Little Claire Designs stamp called Garden Shelves. It's beautifully large and is fab to colour- so much scope for as much detailed colouring as you want! I coloured with pencils. I really wanted to make a feature of the stamp so chose a very simple layout adorned with twine and a Cabochon.

My Mum's Craft Shop Monthly Challenge- Summer!

My second post of the day as it's the first of the month- August!!!! How time is flying!!!! And that can only mean it's time for the MMCS Monthly Challenge. This month's challenge is easy peasy- SUMMER!

I decided to use some very Summery papers and these cute cameras to create a card with mainly dies and no colouring for change. So these papers are MME Cambridge Court. The cute cameras are made using Accent It- Cute Cameras Dienamics. The sentiment is from the MFT Document It-Captured Memories stamp set cut out with the Fishtail Flags Stax. The scalloped edging is created using the Simply Scallops border Dienamic.

Pop along to the blog and check out the rest of the DT's designs and you must be making a summery card this month, right?!

My Mum's Craft Shop- Animals

Hey hey hey! How's it going? This is the first of two posts today- both for My Mum's Craft Shop. This week the MMCS DT have been showcasing products featuring the theme of ANIMALS!

I've used the newly in The Cats Pajamas Aye Aye Captain stamp set. I've coloured him with copics and cut him out. I've also done the same with the 2 lifebelts. These gorgeous papers are Echo Park Here and Now- I used one of the sheets of paper to cut out the clouds which I then mounted on 3d foam pads. The sea was created with the Catch A Wave Dienamic. Finally the sentiment is part of the stamp set. It's pretty versatile as the sentiments cover thank you cards, male birthdays or a cute romantic card.
