Sketch Saturday- Oh Christmas Tree!

This week I've made another Christmas card to add to my stash using LOTV's Oh Christmas Tree. I coloured with copics and added copious amounts of glitter. These papers are Glitz Design Joyeux Noel. I have used 2 PTI dies- holly and "merry" and the Christmas tree is a Dee's Distinctively die I think. I heated some white embossing powder on the ends to look like snow.

Hallooooo my crafting peeps!

Today I have a wee card to show you for My Mum's Craft Shop using a really quirky Paper Artsy stamp set...

This stamp set is JOFY 15 and is a whole sheet of cute and quirky stamps (I've used 5 of the stamps in this scene). Everything is coloured with copics. I stamped each of the birdies twice so that I could layer up their wings to give a 3d effect. The bird box I actually paper pieced and then added some copic shading. The papers I've used are MME Unforgettable. The gorgeous frame (my new plaything!) is the new Chalkboard Frame Dienamics. Because the stamped sentiment looked quite handwritten and doodly, I decided to use my Autumn Leaves stamp set that looks like doodles (sorry can't think of name of it!)

Some Odd Girl Sketch Challenge

Hey folks! Just a quick post with a late entry for the Some Odd Girl Sketch Challenge for this month...

I am using Sunshine Mae coloured with copics and lyra for the sand at her feet. I'm totally in lurve with these papers by Crate Paper called On Trend. I've used my new Chalkboard Frame Builder Dienamic- you'll be seeing alot more of this die as I'm really enjoying using it at the mo. Sentiment comes with the stamp set, stamped on File Tab Dienamic.

Closing Date for My Mum's Craft Shop Design Team Call

TODAY IS THE CLOSING DATE FOR THE MY MUM'S CRAFT SHOP DT CALL!

Do you love to create cards and papercrafting projects to inspire others? Would you like to be part of a lovely team, using the latest craft products? If so, read on to apply for our Design Team Call.

 Our Design Team Call is now open until 23rd June. We are looking for a designer to join our Shop Design Team for a initial period of 3 months with the possibility of becoming permenant after that. We specialise in Rubber Stamps, and you will need to create cards and other projects with them on most occasions. We also are expanding out to include other items such mixed media, cd roms and other general crafting items. You will be required to promote our products and latest new arrivals as much as possible. 

Requirements: 
 An active Blog (with average postings several times a week) 

Be on Facebook (our DT group is there!) 

Create and post on the shop blog & your blog, one creation a week (minimum)

Send us some of your creations for use at shows, exhibitions & in our shop 

Promote MMCS on forums, Facebook etc. where possible 

What You Will Receive: 

A Monthly DT Kit (Including new products) 

Discount on all products 

Featured Designer & projects on our Blog 

DT Badge for your Blog 

Possible extended Design Term

Sketch Saturday- Lili of the Valley Wish Upon a Star

Yo Sketch Saturday fans!! This week we have a little treat for you. As our Queen of Sketches, Jen, will be celebrating her birthday this week, we are leaving it to you to pick your favourite sketch of her's to use as your sketch for this week. Jen began doing Sketch Saturday sketches at Sketch #216.

I have chosen Sketch #250...

I have used LOTV's Wish Upon A Star coloured with copics and little lyra shadow. These beautiful vintage papers are Maja Design Vintage Summer. I used my Grand Nesties to make the scalloped card base and also the larger circles. The "3 today" has been die cut using Dienamics and I covered them in Stardust Stickles. Corner bow is Memory Box die.

My Mum's Craft Shop- Bianca Loves Her Big Cake!

Hi guys! This week at My Mum's Craft Shop blog we are celebrating a theme of BLING and I decided to use just one statement piece of bling- this gorgeous Rhinestone Button from The Hobby House....

The image I've used is Stamping Bella Uptownie Bianca Loves Her Big Cake coloured with copics.  These truly stunning papers are Prima Introspection. I've mounted Bianca on a die-cut using Dienamics Rounded Banner Stax. The sentiment is taken from another Uptownie stamp (Isabelle Loves Her Ice Cream).

Sketch Saturday- Plum Pudding!

Hello my crafty friends!! Yes, the wonderful weekend has rolled round again and it's time for Sketch Saturday. Today I have, I think, (my memory is terrible these days) my first Christmas card of the year to show you!!

As you know I always start my cards early in the year so expect this to be the first of a stream from now on...

Today's image is Plum Pudding by Lili of the Valley coloured using copics and lyra pencil bottom shadow. Today's sketch (see below) involved using hexagons but as I don't have any as yet (on my list!) I thought I'd make-do-and-mend with some squares- I think it works OK. These papers are Maja Design Vintage Winter. I've then added a Papertrey Ink Think Big Favs sentiment and a Memory Box holly die.

My Mum's Craft Shop- Home Sweet Home!

Hello peeps! Firstly can I say a big hello to all my new followers! Hello-sie!!!!!!

Today I am showcasing a load of stuff for My Mum's Craft Shop including this gorgeous Pure Innocence stamp I've had my eye on for ages which is perfect for my friend who has just moved house...

She's called Home Sweet Home and I've coloured her with copics and paper pieced her. These pretty papers are MME Sky's The Limit. I've used a few Dienamics- Say What Speech Bubble, Beautiful Bow and Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax and finished off with some cute heart pearls.

Helloooo! Hope you're enjoying your week. We seem to be having some nice weather at long last, I just hope it lasts more than a couple of days!!

SHOCK HORROR- NO STAMPS!!!!

I'm showing you a bit of a Gorjuss fest here- I'm using the cutest Gorjuss decoupage set called New Heights. It consists of 4 decoupage sheets, 4 coordinating papers and additional toppers and tags. You'll love the cute packaging too!! The papers I've used here are actually from the Gorjuss Neutrals 8 x 8" pack and these adorable bows are Gorjuss too! I finished off with a Scalloped border Dienamic and 

Black Dew Drops.

My Mum's Craft Shop Monthly Challenge- Dies dies dies!

My second post of the day as it's the first of the month which can only mean a new challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop Blog!

This month's challenge could not be easier- Dies!

I've used Stamping Bellas Uptownie Isabelle Loves Her Ice Cream coloured with copics and lyra pencil for grass. These pretty summery papers are MME Up and Away- I chose the main background paper as it reminded me of the pattern of an ice cream cone. I've then used a few Dienamics- File Tab, Beautiful Bows and Small Scallop Border. The ice cream die is a Papertrey Ink one and I used my Hougie Board to emboss some lines on and then added some detail with copics.
