My Mum's Craft Shop- I gave you my heart

Hey you! How are you? For those of you in the UK, I hope you enjoyed your Bank Holiday and no rain for a change! Whoop!

For today's card I am using my very first Gorjuss stamp!!! I've eyed these stamps up for years but for some reason hadn't gotten round to getting any but once I saw Kitty had got a lovely selection of Gorjuss products in store, I knew I had to give in to temptation!!

I've used Gorjuss I Gave You My Heart. I coloured her with copics and paper pieced her dress. I know all the Gorjuss Girls are normally drawn with dark hair but I wanted to make her cute and summery so I thought light brown would suit her better. These gorgeous bright papers are MME Cambridge Court. I've also used the Rounded Banner Stax Dienamics.

Love her pretty dress!

Sketch Saturday- Ellie-phant

We have an unusual sketch for you over at Sketch Saturday this week!

I have used Ellie-phant by Cristy Croll for Stamping Bella. I coloured with copics and paper pieced her ears. There are actually hearts coming out of the trunk as part of the stamp but I masked these out as I wanted to do some die cut ones. Papers are Basic Grey Lucille and ribbons and buttons are Stampin Up. The sentiment comes with the stamp and is cut out using Fishtail Flags Stax Dienamics.

What an unusual sketch eh? Now, as you can see you don't have to have the main shape as a star, it can be any shape really that isn't a circle, oval, square or rectangle. You know the deal!

Our fabbie sponsors this week are Wings and Willows!

My Mum's Craft Shop- Butterfly kisses....

This week's theme over at My Mum's Craft Shop blog is "New" so I am demoing a new MME paper pad, new MFT Pure Innocence release and a new technique for me- colouring on kraft!

This new PI cutie is from MFT's latest release and is called Make A Wish. I decided to try a new technique for me that I've seen around alot in blogland recently- colouring on kraft. As this was my first go I took inspiration from Inge's tutorial on the MFT blog. I don't have Prismacolor pencils- only watercolour and lyra pencils but I think they worked just as well. As a colouring technique, I really enjoyed it- once you've worked out what colours you are going to use and what blends well together (a bit of scrap kraft is useful!), it really is quite easy as the kraft is quite forgiving.

I also used a new MME pad called Oxford Lane and the File Tab Dienamic and Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Dienamic- I'm going to seriously love this flower die!!

Such a cutie! I used to love telling the time with Dandelion clocks!!

Thanks for stopping by today x

I've used MFT's Mouse In the House- Do Not Disturb This Mouse (actually I've just remembered this is the Heather Ellis digi image version). I've coloured with copics and paper pieced. Paper is quite an old MME pad- Stella Rose- Hattie. Sentiment is an Elzybells one cut out with Fishtail Flags Stax.

Close up. How snuggly does he look? He's making me feeling sleepy!

Happy Saturday everyone!! Hasn't this week gone quickly? I don't know where the time goes!

For today's Sketch Saturday card I am sharing Stamping Bella's Ramona Loves Cake...

I coloured her with copics and added a lyra shadow on the table. These lovely summery papers are Crate Paper Farmhouse- great for any images with fruit and veg! The sentiment is from a retired MFT set. Finally I addded twine and a little cherry charm (soz, it's hidden a bit by knot in twine!!)

Hey you! How you doing? Hope everyone in the UK had a lovely Bank Holiday- and what about the weather??!!! Amazing!

This week over at the My Mum's Craft Shop blog we are having a "dies" week showcasing the fabbie dies that Kitty has in store.

Here is my creation using a cutie Pure Innocence from their last release called Little Gardener. I coloured her with copics and paper pieced her cute wellies. Grass is done with lyra pencils. These stunning papers I've really fallen in love with are brand new MME Cambridge Court. Right, now for the dies.... I've used a variety of Dienamics: Say What? speech bubble, Cloud Trio, Woodgrain fence and Fresh Cut Grass. Sentiment comes with the main stamp.

Sketch Saturday- Soccer Boy!

Yeaaaaaaaa! It's Saturday! Weekend time! Sketch Saturday time!

Today I have made a card using Soccer Boy, by our very own sponsors of this week, Milk Coffee! I coloured him with copics and lyra pencil grass. I double stamped the football so I could raise it up on 3d pads. These male papers are by Papertrey Ink. I kept it quite simple by just adding a charm and lettering (High Rise Alphabet Dienamics)

Close up! I tried to create some movement by using the dotty copic background.

Here is Susie's amazing sketch!

This month's theme is easy peasy "Spots and/or Stripes". C'mon what are you waiting for- as usual Kitty has a fabbie voucher prize on offer!

These gorgeous papers are from MME called Unforgettable. The sentiment comes with the stamp set. I've embellished with Fishtail Flags Stax and Beautiful Bows Dienamics.
