Sketch Saturday- Teeoffabella!

It's Saaaaaturday!! Yep, it's Sketch Saturday time again and I love this week's sketch!

I've made a birthday card for a friend who's an avid golfer. Of course I used Teeoffabella coloured with copics and lyra pencil grass. She's cut out using Jumbo Fishtail Banner Dienamics. These papers are Theresa Collins Spring Fling- I wanted to pick up the Pringle design in the socks. Scalloped edge and flag are both Dienamics. Baker's twine is SU and finished with golf charm. Sentiment is PC generated and cut out with Fishtail Banner Stax.

Here is your close up. Love her coordinated outfit!

Here is your fab sketchypoo.

Yo yo yo peeps! How you doing? This week is floral/flowers week over at My Mum's Craft Shop blog. I've chosen this gorgeous Stamping Bella Uptownie Pippa Loves To Plant...

I coloured Pippa with copics and paper pieced her apron, shorts and headscarf. Lyra pencil was used for the grass. These gorgeous papers are MME Notable- gorgeous for those lovely summery cards. The flowers have been made with a variety of Doohickey dies- vintage daisies and wild strawberry. The sentiment is Papertrey Ink from the Flower Fusion #6 set.

How cute and summery does she look?

Sketch Saturday- Soccermomabella!

Saturday has rolled around again and it's time for us to play with another sketch over at Sketch Saturday!

But first I would like to remind you that Kitty's (owner of My Mum's Craft Shop) grand reopening is today! See here for deets!

Back to Sketch Saturday- I've chosen to use Soccermomabella coloured with copics and a little lyra pencil grass. I had to add a little bling to her so I added glitter to her whistle. The friend I sent this to is a Man Utd fan so I tried to stick to their colours as best I could. The papers are MME Rosy. The 3 banners have been created using Fishtail Banner Stax Dienamics. The sentiment came with the main stamp but said "mom"- I masked out the top of the "o" and altered it to be a "u".

Digging her outfit. Do you like her Nike trainers?!!!

Here is your brill sketch...

Our fab sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps- yea!

Squeezy Hugs!

Happy Sunday! Whoop de doop! Some warm weather!!!! Yay!!!!!!

Today I decided to enter the Some Odd Girl Sketch Challenge for this month...

I decided to make this card for my hubbie- just because. I used Squeezy Hugs by Some Odd Girl coloured with copics. I only used the top half of the image as I wanted to make a Polaroid photo image using my Instaframe Dienamic. I used a load of inks to make the night sky and then cut out the Skyline Border Dienamic to make a cityscape. The little white stars are made with Copic Opaque White. The sentiment is SOG from Romantic Gwen set. Papers are Basic Grey Lucille- soooo pretty! Ribbon is Stampin Up. Banners are a mixture of Fishtail Flag Stax and Jumbo Banner Stax Dienamics.

Sketch Saturday- Gracious Vases

Yep, it's Sketch Saturday time again and today I've decided to go for a bit of a CAS-style card. I must admit I do struggle with CAS cards- definately need more practice!!

I've used a couple of the stamps from Papertrey Ink's Gracious Vases set. I paper pieced the vase and added a bit of colour using a red copic. These papers are Stampin Up Comfort Cafe. The sentiment is from PTI's Botannical Silhouettes. I've used the Rounded Banner Stax and Butterfly Dienamics and finished off with some champagne hot fix crystals. The shape of the base card is made using Grand Nesties Labels 23.

Here is your sketch!

Wheel love!

Hi everyone! Hope you had a lovely weekend. The weather has actually been a bit nice and sunny!! Shock horror! Am I becoming obsessed with the weather??!!!

Anyway today's card is very Spring-like in an attempt to convince us all that maybe Spring is finally on its way. This week's DT theme over at My Mum's Craft Shop is Dots and Stripes so I made this card. I'm afraid it's not one of my best, I'm not feeling that great and mojo has gone massively awol. Boooooo.

I've chosen to use Wheel Love by The Cats Pajamas. I've coloured with copics and laid down the grass with lyra pencils. These pretty papers are MME Memorable which is really funny cos I just had to check the front of the pad to check the name!! ha ha. The sentiment comes with the stamp. I added a cute little scalloped border using Small Scallop Border Dienamic. This is an old Sketch Saturday sketch.

Sketch Saturday- Rose Red

Hello crafty-lovers! Where oh where is Spring???!!!! Is it just me or is this weather getting annoying now?!

Anyway, it's Saturday so that can only mean one thing- it's Sketch Saturday time! We have a lovely sketch by Carrie this week...

I have chosen a Saturated Canary image called Rose Red. I have only used the main part of the image so I cut close to the image rather than leaving a bit of an outline like I normally do. I have coloured her with copics. These papers are Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics which I have distressed and stitched. Sentiment is a Papertrey Ink one from their Anniversary set Botannical Silhouettes. The lace and buttons are Prima.

Close up. Such a pretty image to work with.

Here is Carrie's sketch and this week we are sponsored by That Craft Place.

Crafty stash used: Stamps (Sat Canary, PTI); Copics; Papers (Maja Design); Nesties; Tim Holtz Distresser; Sewing machine; Pearls; Buttons (Prima); Lace (Prima); Viva Decor Pen

Howdy, Friend!

Hallo peeps! Would you believe we had snow again yesterday??!!! The weather is seriously crazy at the moment!

Anyway, today I decided to enter MFT's Guest Designer comp with this little number...

I decided the square (see sketch below) was just crying out for a little scene to be created. Firstly I used Pure Innocence Cowgirl coloured with copics and paper pieced with papers from MME On The Bright Side 1. The little cactus is from a retired MFT stamp set Fred Bear Out West. I then used the following Dienamics: Woodgrain fence, Star Border, Fresh Cut Grass, Cloud Trio, Let's Chat, Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax, Fishtail Flags Stax, Country Charms. Phew! Papers are October Afternoon Sasparilla.

Lovin her style!

Here is the fab sketch for you to follow.

My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge- Easter/Easter colours

Hi folks! Hope you're enjoying your Easter weekend. I'm writing this on Saturday and wondering whether we'll get a Bank Holiday without rain?!! Mmmmm.

Today's card is for our next monthly Challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop blog. This month we are setting the nice and easy challenge of Easter or Easter colours.

I've used this adorable MFT stamp called Doodle Garden Hunny Bunny. What I love about this stamp is that, yes, it is an obvious Easter stamp but because of the cute sentiments that come with it, you can use if for other occasions too. Anyhoo, I've coloured her with copics and paper pieced her hairband, leggings and top. These pretty papers are new from Prima called Hello Pastel. I've used Let's Chat, Rolled Daisy, Rounded Banner Stax and Medium Scallop Border Dienamics. Must also say that I've used an old MFT Challenge sketch.

How cute are those bunny ears?
