Sketch Saturday- Michelle with typewriter

Hellooo! Firstly I'd like to wish you all a very Happy Easter! I hope you are all managing to spend some time with loved ones. We are going to have a lovely big family dinner tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that as my Mum's just got out of hospital so will be a nice celebration.

Anyhoo, today I'm showing you another Sketch Saturday DT card. Love this week's sketch!

I've used this gorgeously cute image from Milk Coffee who are our sponsors this week. She's called Michelle with Typewriter. I've coloured her with copics and paper pieced her dress and bow. These pretty papers are Pebbles Seen and Noted. I've used Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax Dienamics to cut out the image, rolled rose Dienamics and Fishtail Flags Stax to cut out the sentiment which was PC generated.

Close up. Love the retro feel of this image. I thought these papers and rolled roses would complement that retro theme.

Wonder what she's typing!

Hey peeps! Hope you're keeping yourselves warm (those of you battling snow in the UK). The only good thing is that it's a good excuse for crafting!! What is up with the weather??!!! Come on, Spring!!!

This week we are running the theme of Echo Park papers over at My Mum's Craft Shop blog and here is my sample...

I'm also showing you a new stamp from the latest Wild Rose Studio release- this is called Bunny With Cake. I've coloured him with copics and added a lyra shadow. The papers are Echo Park Sweet Little Girl. The sentiment is actually from a Cats Pajamas stamp available here cut out with Let's Chat speech bubble Dienamics. Finally added a fun spiral with the Looped Border Dienamics.

Hey everyone! Groan, another week has passed and I must apologise for not coming round to see you. I've not been feeling that great and have been suffering with headaches so am trying to keep off the PC if I can. Please bear with me :0)

I was chuffed to see my Pure Innoence Cute as A Button card (see previous post) made the MFT Favourite Finds this week!!

Anyway onto today's Sketch Saturday card..

I used my Grand Nesties to make the base shape. The image is a Elena's Easel Stamping Bella one called Turtle Tots Birthday Wishes. I coloured with copics and added some Stickles. Papers are October Afternoon. Star is a Nestie, ribbon is Stampin Up and the banner is created using Dienamic Fishtail Flags Stax. Sentiment is a rub on.

I'm using some brand spanking new products. First up is this new Doodle Garden stamp set by MFT called Springtime Wishes. I've coloured her with copics and then paper pieced her bow and dress. I thought the dress was crying out to be layered up so I hope you can see that it's actually paper pieced in layers. I've also used this brand new MME pad called Notable- such pretty colours. I added some grass using the Fresh Cut Grass Dienamic, a Rolled Daisy and I treated myself to the Let's Chat speech bubbles which I've already used loads- they're an essential die I think. Sentiment comes with the stamp set.
