Anything Goes- Tags!

Hey peeperoonis! I have another theme of "TAGS" for you today- this time it's the challenge over at Anything Goes. I've chosen to make a card featuring mini tags...

This card was inspired by a PTI card Nichole Heady did here.  I've never used these tags as a focal point on a card before but I think they look pretty cool so I think this is a style to be experimented with! The tag stamps, sentiments and tag dies are all PTI, as are the buttons which I sewed onto the card.

That's all the deets! Pop over to the challenge to check out my teamies!

Crafty stash used: Stamps (PTI); Tag dies (PTI); Buttons (PTI); Thread; Corner punch (Woodware)

My Mum's Craft Shop- Tags!

Morning! Hope you all had a good weekend. Today I'm here with a My Mum's Craft Shop post to showcase the fantastic CC Designs that Kitty has just got into the shop. It's also Day 2 of our themed weeks- this week is "TAGS" so pop on over to the blog and check out the DT designs during the week.

These tags have basically been made very simply using CC Designs Meoples No Peeking (coloured with copics) and mainly Die-namics. For the base of each tag I've used the Rounded Banner Stax Dienamic. Papers are all Echo Park Dots and Stripes Christmas Collection Kit.

Nested circles are Papertrey Ink Limitless Layers dies. Holly is PTI die. Lettering is High Rise Alphabet Dienamic.

Snowflake is Jumbo Snowflake Dienamic.

Again PTI Limitless Layers. Sentiment is an MFT one cut out using Stampin Up Word Window Punch. Bow is Beautiful Bow Dienamic (using the smaller sized bow).

Numbers are By the Number Dienamics.

SHOP NEWS: Kitty has got in Paper Smooches stamps!!!!! I'm a massive fan of their sentiments in particular- you won't find a cuter font around!!

MMCS Challenge- Inspired by a song

Hey peeps! How you doing? Today it's time for a challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge. The challenge this week is "INSPIRED BY A SONG". My inspiration comes in the shape of Jessie J- "Who You Are".

We were lucky enough to be given some Bugaboo images to use and I have chosen this one called Cat In the Hat. I printed out twice, coloured with copics and layered up so that he's leaning over the  sentiment. I have cut around the image using the Die-namics Rounded Banner Stax available here. The "you"s are die cut using the PTI Wonderful Words die.

Close up!

Pop over and see my teamies' creations!

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing good. Today's challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop is "SENTIMENT ONLY"

I've chosen to do a very simple Christmas card. I realise with hindsight I should've photographed it on a coloured background really but you live and learn!

Anyway, I've used the Papertrey Ink Damask snowflakes dies and layered them up with the Holiday Words die and stamp set. Finished off with some hot fix Swarovski crystals!

Easy peasy!

New stash video and a Christmas card!

Hello. Yes it's me again! Just to let you know that I have a new video you can view here of my latest Papertrey Ink stash and speaking of Papertrey Ink.....

In my video, I show you all my new stash which I have in fact used to make this card! This card was totally inspired by Dawn McVey. I made a couple of cards like this for my Mum as she wanted me to do some religious cards for her. So simple to do so I think I'll be making lots of variations of these next year.

I used one of the stamps from the Star of Wonder set which I then cut out and mounted using the Limitless Layers dies. The larger nested dies are Mat Stack 3s. I then used the Wonderful Words Holiday die and stamp set to finish off.

I'd like to enter this into:
A Passion for Papertrey- ink up something you haven't used before/for ages.... I haven't used mine before as they are new! Hope that counts!!
Christmas Stampin All Year Long- anything goes
Crafty Ann's - Christmas

By the Cute and Girly- twinkle twinkle little star
Divas by Design- festive

My Mum's Craft Shop- Wee Stamps Toppers

Hi folks! Hope you're all doing well! Today I am showcasing some Wee Stamps toppers available at My Mum's Craft Shop. If you're running out of time to make all your Christmas cards (or running out of mojo!) these pre-coloured toppers are just the thing. What I was really surprised about was the quality of the card they were printed on- me, being me, had to personalise them a bit so I added some copic shadows and plenty of glitter and there was no bleeding! Top result!

Anyway this first topper is from the Holly Time set. These gorgeous wintery papers by Kaisercraft called Turtle Dove are so different, I just love the muted colours. I have also used the snowflake border from Memory Box and Fishtail Flag Stax Die-namics. The sentiment is an MFT one.

This second card has been made using a Wee Stamps Topper from the set called Winter Fairy. Again, as before I personalised the topper with a copic outline and some Crystal Stickles. The papers this time are Glitz Design Joyeux Noel- hopefully this sketch will show you some of the variety of papers included in the pad.

A little close up!

Crafty stash used: Toppers (Wee Stamps); Sentiments (MFT); Copics; Stickles; Papers (Glitz Design, Kaisercraft); Assorted cardstock; Nesties; Die-namics- Fishtail Flag Stax; Snowflake border (Memory Box); Twine; Charm

Sketch Saturday- Pack Light

Hi all. Hope you've got lots of fun crafty things planned this weekend. I don't know about you but I've got some serious Christmas card fatigue- as ever I started v early but as the year goes on, there seems to be an endless stream of cards to make. I'm REALLY pleased to say I've only got 4 left to make!! Yay!! I've made 56 and alot of them have been quite detailed and as it takes me quite a long time colouring each image, it does take yonks. Next year I'm going to do more CAS style ones I think.

Anyhoo onto today's Sketch Saturday challenge....

This is my very first Saturated Canary image would you believe!!!! I've used Pack Light but as I wanted it to fit into the circular sketch, I decided to enlarge the image and cut around the luggage and have her sitting on the floor. I really like how it turned out. I coloured with copics. Papers are Basic Grey PB & J. The ribbon I hope you can see is a navy blue rather than black.

I'd like to enter this into:
Card Crafters Circle- use patterned paper
Card Makin Mamas- anything goes
Raise the bar- anything goes
My Heart Pieces- use ribbon
Paper Crafting Journey- use ribbon or twine
Unique Crafters- sugar and spice and all things nice
