Sketch Saturday- Pom Pom Fairy!

Hello folks! It's Sketch Saturday time again and we have a corker of a sketch this week! I really loved doing this one and know it'll be a sketch to be used again and again!

This is a birthday card for my friend's little girl using Lili of the Valley Pom Pom Fairy. I coloured her with copics and added some highlights with a white watercolour pencil. The grass is coloured with lyra pencils. These beautiful papers are by Crate Paper called Paper Heart. The scalloped border is created using a Papertrey Ink scalloped border die and the scalloped corners are the Photo Corners Die-namics. Butterflies are created using the butterfly Die-namic. The sentiment is from the Dream Big A La Mode set cut out with a Memory Box label die. I added some Crystal Stickles here and there.

Close-up. Don't you just love her tutu and cardi combo?!

How cuuuuuuute?!

Here is your sketch for this week. C'mon along and join us and have a look at the rest of the DT's gorgeous creations!

Anything Goes- Let's Not Be Square!

Hello. Today's theme over at Anything Goes Challenge is "Let's Not Be Square"! I must admit I rarely make cards that aren't square so this was a bit of a treat for me. I used regular circle and scalloped circle nesties to make a mini easel card.

This beautiful image is a Mo Mannning fairy coloured with copics. The papers are Echo Park Winter Park. I added Art Institute Faux Snow around the edge of the circle. The large snowflake is the Damask snowflake die from Papertrey Ink and the smaller snowflakes are a Sizzix die. The pretty little blue star gems are from The Craft Den.

I love the glisten and shine from the Faux Snow!

Such a gorgeous image! I love Mo's winter fairies!

Don't forget to pop along and visit the rest of the DT's work, as ever it's fabulous! x

Hi everyone. Sorry it's late but today I have a card for Kenny K's Krafty Krew Challenge day!! Yay! This week's challenge is Strawberries and Cream. You can interpret the challenge by a colour combo or  more literally like I have. Go over and have a look at the rest of the DT's work, it's amazing!!

For my card I've used Farmer's Daughter. I love this image so much, it's so 50s retro and just a total dream to colour! I've coloured her with copics and cut out with nesties leaving her feet dangling over the edge. The papers are by October Afternoon. The fence and speech bubble dies are Die-namics and the grassy frongs are a Crealies die. Sentiment is PTI.

Close-up! Isn't she cute?!
