Anything Goes- Anniversaries!

Hi everyone! Well, if you're in the UK I hope you've been enjoying our gorgeous weather! Can I just say hello to all my recent new followers! Hellooooooo!

Anyway, today's post is another challenge over at Anything Goes and today's challenge is "Anniversaries"! This is a card I have made to celebrate my anniversary which isn't actually until August. We'll be married 7 years this year- time flies!! I'm really pleased with how this has turned out, I know hubby will love it, he's a bit soppy like that!!

I used the cutest Lili of the Valley stamp to make this called Times to Treasure. I coloured with copics, added shading and grass done with Lyra pencils. These beautiful papers are called Love Me by MME purchased at The Craft Den. I've added some stitching around them with my sewing machine. The sentiment is MFT from Dream Big A La Mode stamp set. The banner is made using a Die-namics banner die and set with eyelets, I love how it echoes the banners on the background paper. The heart with paper roses was recycled off an old card I had.

I'd like to enter this into:
Lili of the Valley- anything goes

Sketch Saturday- Glamorous Gardening!

Woo hoo! It's the weekend again and that can only mean one thing! Sketch Saturday time! I have to admit I'm quite excited to show you this card today as it's probably one of my fav makes at the moment :0)

So here it is...

This is a card my Mum asked me to make for my sis. If you know my sis, it is sooooo appropriate!! I used Glamorous Gardening by LOTV. I love this image so much, it's just so cute and a joy to colour. I coloured with a mixture of copics, watercolours and lyras- I didn't have a blue copic to match the blue in the background papers. These gorgeous papers- really remind me of hot summery days- are of course by MME called Ooh La La. Gorgeous flowers are by Prima, die cut flower is the Magnolia Strawberry leaf and flower die. Sentiment is Papertrey Ink from their Garden Variety stamp set. Finally I added some champagne hot fix crystals for bling!

Sketch Saturday- Sweet Chester!

Hi. Hope you've got a great weekend planned! It's Sketch Saturday time already! Firstly I must tell you some exciting news!! Sketch Saturday is looking for 7, yes 7, new team members!!!! Pop over to the blog for more details!

So onto today's challenge, a fabbie sketch by Jo....

Yep, another Christmas card! This time I've chosen to use Pollycraft's Sweet Chester. I think he makes a great Christmas card for a male so this is for my brother-in-law. Jo has chosen such an unusual shape for the image but I think it goes perfectly with the image I've chosen. So I coloured Chester with copics and usual lyra bottom shading. The papers are by Basic Grey called Nordic Holiday. I kept it fairy simple because the image is quite large but also because it's a male card. The large holly is made using a  Papertrey Ink die. I used the paper to represent the sentiment as it had words on it.

I'd like to enter this into:
Cute Card Thursday- food or drink
Basic Grey- used Nordic Holiday paper

Sketch Saturday- Victory Kid!

Hello folks! Can't believe it's Saturday again already!!! Where is the time going???!!! This week's Sketch Saturday sketch is designed by my fabbie SS teamie, Suzie! We have been lucky enough to be sponsored by Kenny K so I have a Kenny K image to show you today- my very first Kenny K!!!!

This is Victory Kid and I have to say these Kenny K images coloured beautifully! I have coloured with copics and added some lyra and watercolour pencil shading. As I've done on a few images with darker colours, I've used a white coloured pencil for adding stark highlights eg on his jeans.  The papers are by Echo Park called Little Boy. The large star was cut out using a nestie die, the tiny stars are cut out using a Papertrey Ink die- the star from the Love Lives Here: Holiday set. I used some eyelets on this- I haven't used eyelets for yonks but I really like how they look so I wonder why!!!
