Princess!

Hi everyone! Did you see the wedding yesterday? Wasn't it beautiful? Kate's dress was stunning and absolutely suited her to a tee, extremely elegant! And I loved when they were driving the Aston Martin- so them I think. I watched it with my Mum and we a cream tea afterwards just to be quintessentially British!

Only the one card today...

I used Mismatch Ketto for this card I've made for a friend's little girl. I think she looks very regal for all the royal themes going around blogland this week. I coloured her with a mixture of watercolour and lyra pencils and shadowed her with copics and some sponged ink. These gorgeous papers are by Basic Grey.

I'd like to enter her into:
A spoonful of Sugar- Royal knees up
Simon Says- anything goes
Stampavie- pearls
Charisma Cardz- april showers/may flowers
Daring Cardmakers- By royal appointment

Stamp Something- wings (she has tiny wings!)

Here is a close up! She's all blinged up as every princess should be!

Anabel Lulu and Anything Goes DT

Hallo all! So I had a bit of a mixed day yesterday. Went on lovely long walk with hubbie and had BBQ in gorgeous sunshine. Then I found out I'd made it on the Anything Goes Challenge DT- how cool is that??! I thought as I've got a bit more time now that I'd make the most of it but challenging myself on a DT. Can't wait to start working with you all, girls!
But it took a turn for the worse and by 8pm I had a stonking migraine and had my head down the toilet throwing up!! And I didn't even get to eat any Easter egg!

Just a quick post as head is still sore!

So I coloured gorgeous Anabel Lulu with a mixture of watercolour and lyra pencils; shadows by copics and darkened her hair with a brush marker. Am so loving these Basic Grey papers- especially with all this gorgeous hot weather we're having. Also used plenty of zig-zag stitching!

I'd like to enter this into:
Bellarific Challenge- mother's day or for someone special

C.R.A.F.T.- use flowers

Crafty stash used: Stamp (Stamping Bella); Lyra pencils; Brush markers; Copics; Papers (Basic Grey); Sentiment (Pink Petticoat); Glamour dust; Sewing machine; Hot fix crystals

First up is a Riley card using one of my fav Riley stamps- Coffee Riley. I coloured him with copics, paper pieced his armchair and added some shading with copics and lyra pencils. Papers are all by Doodlebug. I used MFT Die-namics die for the star borders.

Card marathon!!

...ok, I'm exaggerating but I made 4 cards! This week has been a lovely week in that I've had no rushing around so have had a couple of days to myself to craft away to my heart's content! I've been wondering whether to do a post when I've made a card rather than saving up all my cards from the week and doing one marathon post...mmmm.... what do you think? Most people seem to do a post per card.....Anyway, whilst I'm thinking, here are some cards!...

First up is You're My Number 1-abella: a birthday card for a friend. I've been a bit naughty and ordered a stash more of Stamping Bellas so I hope you're not bored with them!!! I paper pieced just about everything on her using these gorgeous MME papers. I added glitter to her hair band and Liquid Pearls to her necklace.

Next up is an Easter card for my Dad's pen friend. I suppose he's my pen friend now but I still see him as my Dad's. Anyhow he's in the US so I tend to do something fairly simple and flat! This is a gorgeous PSX stamp I coloured with copics.

My last card is a bit of change of stylee- what do you think?! I used my new papers (see below) from Fancy Pants. The stamp was free in a stamping mag and I did some major paper piecing! Sentiment is Waltzing Mouse. I used my distressing tool to add to the vintagey look.

Image is Lily of the Valley- as usual coloured with mixture of watercolour and lyra and copics and again inked. Papers are by Abbey Road, I thought the colour combo was a bit unusual.
