New LOTV release- Workbench!

Hey crafting friends!

Today I'm here to show you a new stamp from the forthcoming LOTV release called Workbench. The new release (out on Friday) will feature 4 new male vintage stamps and some of the cute little critters...

I love these vintage style images from LOTV- I'm just a sucker for all of them but especially the male ones! I coloured with copics and cut out using the MFT notebook die. Papers are by Echo Park. The sentiment is from their Teenage Boy Sentiments set. Eyelets to finish!

Here's your close up! He looks super busy doesn't he?! Wonder what he's making!

Bellarific Friday with The Penguin And The Marshmallow

Well helloooo!
Happy Friday people!

I've got my usual Bellarific Friday post to share today and I've chosen THE cutest penguin you ever did see...

It's The Penguin And The Marshmallow! Such a great simple image to colour but looks so effective on a CAS card! Just so squishy and adorable. This week's challenge was to use the below colour inspiration. Now I know the colours looked quite Halloweeny but I wanted to make a Christmas card- not traditional colours but hey! I coloured him with copics. Used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment beneath him. Cut out with a square die. Added some sequins. Job done! Another Christmas card to add to my much-needed stash!

Here was your stunning colour combo

Here is your Mojobella sketch ready for next week's challenge. Don't forget you've got the chance to win yourself some Bella bucks! All your entry details are here.

Bellarific Friday with Edna With A Cupcake

Hey peeps!

Today's Bellarific Friday was to use the Mojobella sketch (below) and I chose to use the very gorgeous Edna With A Cupcake...

Edna was coloured with copics and fussy cut. Matching sentiment cut out with Lil Inkers die. I added white gel pen and Stickles to the icing on the cupcake. Papers are by MME. Saddlestitch ribbon by PTI. Sequins to finish!

Here is your close up. Let me know if you're interested in the copic colours I used.

Here was your sketch for this week.

Here is your inspiration photo for next week's challenge. What a gorgeous colour combo!!
Remember you can use the photo whichever way it inspires you! Entry deets are here for the chance to win some Bella bucks!

Lili Of The Valley October Facebook Challenge- 1920s Christmas!

Hi folks!

It's only just dawned on me how few Christmas cards I've made this year! Eeeeek!
I really need to start getting my finger out!

Luckily LOTV's Facebook Challenge for October is Christmas themed so I made a card using the very gorgeous 1920s Christmas...

I used the digi version of this stamp and printed her out twice. One copy I coloured with copics. I added some gold Kirarina Wink pen to her champagne and tinsel and Stickles to her tinsel. With the other image I stamped a sentiment below the frame, fussy cut the inside of the frame and coloured the holly on the edges of it. I then cut the frame to fit my card base and stuck 3D tape around the frame. I stuck the coloured image at a jaunty (!) angle direct to the base card and then stuck the frame over the top. Does that make sense or is it clear as mud?!

Don't forget to join in the challenge and pop by and see the rest of the DT Collective samples.
