Love Cynthia- Make Happiness A Habit!

Hi ya.

Hope you're all enjoying the holidays! I haven't really had much time to do any crafting lately so a lot of the cards I've been showing recently are ones I've made previously. I can't wait to get down to some decent craft time in a few weeks!

Anyway, today I thought I'd share a cutie made with the Love Cynthia- Make Happiness A Habit stamp set...

I stamped out the three girls and coloured with copics- loving the funky hair colours! Then I paper pieced their dresses using MFT paper. I die cut the word "happy" using MFT Dienamics and adhered some of the MFT paper behind. I then stamped the sentiments either side of the "happy" using my MISTI for placement. I then adhered the girlies around the sentiment. Finally stamped a couple of hearts using PTI Lovely Lady ink.

Lili of the Valley- Christmas Flowers

Hi ya. How goes it?

Today I thought I'd share a LOTV card made for the August LOTV Facebook Challenge...

I coloured Christmas Flowers with Distress Markers and added some Wink of Stella to the flowers. Card bases cut with Go Kreate dies and papers by Kaisercraft. I sandwiched some cheesecloth in-between and added some lace.  I then lightly sprinkled some Frantage on and heated from the back. I then made a poinsettia using a Magnolia doohickey die, a scoring board and some tiny gold beads. I also added some Prima leaves and a Kaisercraft sentiment.

Here's our close up. Really pleased with the on colouring this one and I love the snowy effect of the frantage.

Mama Elephant- Photo Bomb!

How's the Summer treating you all? Hope you're all getting some lovely Summer fun with a generous dollop of crafting time!

So today's card is from the Mama Elephant Photo Bomb stamp set...

I coloured the main image with copics and cut out. The card base is cut using a panel of white cardstock die cut using the Reverse Confetti Big Stripes cover panel. I then cut strips of coloured paper (Simple Stories Domestic Bliss) and adhered them behind the die cut panel. I then raised the main image up on 3d pads. I stamped one of the accompanying sentiments but used my MISTI to help me stamp the sentiment all on one line rather than being on the two lines. Finally added a teeny die cut heart.

Here's your close up! I so love these- they really remind me of Play People- remember them???!!

Stamping Bella- Daisy Squidgy

Hey craft fans!

How are you all this week? I see we're starting to be treated to all the Autumn and some Winter releases- exciting! I love looking at all the new papers coming out.

Today I have a cutie Stamping Bella Squidgy to share with you...

Daisy Squidgy is coloured with copics. I restamped the daisy head twice and the stem and her arms once so that I could paper piece her dress and stick the stem and arms over the top and I layered up the daisy in 3 layers to get a decoupage effect. The frame is an MFT Blueprint. Sentiment comes with.

Here's your close up. Isn't she just the cutest? I love her ragamuffin hair!

See you all soon x

Love Cynthia- Express It!

Hey everyone!

Today I have a CAS card to share with you featuring stamps from a couple of Love Cynthia stamp sets...

The 3 cuties on the right are from the Express It set and the peeking girl on left is from the Peek A Boo set. I coloured with copics and fussy cut. I then stamped a sentiment from the Mama Elephant Photo Bomb stamp set and coloured with copics. I used a cover plate from Mama Elephant raised up on 3d foam pads and adhered the 3 girls on the left flat on the cardstock but raised up the girl on the right so she was level with the frame.

Enjoy the rest of your week. See you soon! x

LOTV- Christmas Bunny!

The latest LOTV Facebook Challenge is to feature a creature on your card. I've just started making some Christmas cards (eek!) so I thought I'd enter this cute chappie...

I coloured bunny with Distress Markers and added some white gel pen for falling snow. I distressed all the papers with a distressing tool and then painted some Gesso on. I made the Poinsettia using a Magnolia die and added some gold beads in the centre. The postmark stamp is of course also LOTV. Finally added a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
